The free program

How the free program works

The program is free for vegan businesses. You can use the playbooks and checklists straight away. If you want a written review of your site and listings, you apply; if more eligible businesses apply than there are places, places are drawn at random.

What's in it

1. Free playbooks and resources

For: any vegan business, anywhere.

You get: sourced guides plus printable checklists and templates.

2. A free visibility review

For: vegan businesses and organisations that apply.

You get: a written review of your website and listings (Google Business Profile, vegan directories, technical basics, crawler access and a manual check of AI answers), ending in a "do these first" list of no more than ten actions. You carry out the changes.

3. Listing and profile clean-up

For: local and service businesses.

You get: a guided checklist, and a listings check inside every review.

4. Free business support

Who qualifies for a review

Restaurants and cafes, coaches and nutritionists, shops and brands, nonprofits and sanctuaries are all welcome to apply.

How places are given out fairly

  1. Applications are open all year. There are 5 places each month.
  2. We check each application against the criteria above and nothing else. We don't judge how good your business is, and we don't award points for linking, following or buying.
  3. If more eligible businesses apply than there are places, places are drawn at random each month. Anyone not drawn goes to a waitlist and is carried into the next draw unless they decline.
  4. Everyone, drawn or not, can use the free resources.

What we will never ask of you

Why the link rule? Google's spam policies list exchanging goods or services for links as link spam. We keep this program clear of that. Google Search Central: spam policies (page updated 2026-08-28, accessed 2026-10-21).

What it can't do
